You know, if someone came up to me and said they were bottle feeding their bunny rabbit or co-sleeping with their pet boa constrictor so they could "bond", I wouldn't right to their face say they were crazy. I would wait until I got home, them tell my friends about the nut I met in the supermarket today.

If someone said they were going to have 5 kids, put them in daycare, and have a fast-paced career while nannies and babysitters took care of their kids, it would be considered rude for me to have an opinion that differs with their "choices".

So why the hell is it okay for others to make comments and pass judgments on my choices as a parent and a wife?????

To those I say:

"Yes, I am breastfeeding both my boys. No, it is not harder than bottle feeding. Yes, even the two year old. Yes, he has teeth. "

"No, I do not get ANY sexual feelings from nursing. Trust me. At times it feels as good as a vaginal delivery. Other times it feels like someone ripping my nipple off. There are times it doesn't even feel like anything...but I can guarantee, there is NO time it feels like anything my husband might do."

"Yes, all five are mine. I am sure."
closely followed by...
"Yes, I would rather you are dead than take my kids any day. Matter of fact, if you tried to take my kids, you probably would be dead."

"I may have more, I may not. Should I call you when we are about to have unprotected sex and you can give me your views then?? Or, you could just tell me here, in the supermarket aisle your views on how I should live my sex life."

"Yes, my children sleep in my bed if they want. Again, what is with the concern with my sex life????? Obviously we have sex..."

And lastly..

"Yes, I know how these things happen. I do not have cable, and if I did, all the smut on cable would probably add more excitement to our life, if you know what I mean..."

Ok...done.

Thanksgiving Vacation

I don't know of any other place that gives the kids off for Thanksgiving longer than they get for Christmas. But we do...I am actually taking advantage of it this time. The kids are starting on the Christmas presents they are making for family members. The girls are making their beads out of modeling clay, baking them, then making bracelets. The boys (well, Tyler really) are making notepads that they are stamping to decorate. We should be done by early December...which is good because my family is coming December 6th.

I am actually doing pretty well getting ready for the holidays. My goal is to NOT be running around at the last minute. I want to enjoy the time with the kids. Well, duty calls..the girls are fighting..again...

So..what is new today?? Not much really. I am just trying to keep up with the kiddos, mainly Jackson. Man, that kid will kill me. Yesterday I was at McDonalds with some friends (yes, I take my kids there to play) and I look out the window..what do I see?? My two year old son playing in the parking lot. Well, he was in the drive through area, but still. How did he get out? No clue. But he thought it was a big friggin joke. So of course, his new favorite game is get outside so mommy freaks the hell out.

Other kids are great. William (aka "Greatest Baby of all Time") is sleeping. Older kids in school. I have to go wash my kitchen floor. Gross. Our socks look like we were all playing at the McDonalds playland. Hmm...maybe I will just take the kids there everyday and never clean again...

Somehow I should link my old blog to this one....

Well, here it is...

I have a lot of work to do here, I know. I am just starting to get this ad thing going...more on that in a moment, children are currently killing each other.
